I had front page 2002 on the computer, got a bad download update,
uninstalled it to correct corrupted registry problem, reinstalled front page
2000. It worked for a couple of weeks and not I am getting an error message
when I start a "new page" and try to save it. "Cannot load fp5autl.dll". The
file is on the computer. When I click "ok" I get another error message
"Front page caused a page fault in Module Kernal32.dll".
Anyone have a solution?

Thanks,

FM

Run Detect and Repair from the FrontPage Help dropdown.

Dear Steve,

Did that. It asked for the CD. Inserted same. Before it completed the fix it
says I have an internal 2349 error.It wouldn't continue.

Any thoughts?

If you are running Norton Anti Virus, kill it.
See http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;823721
This also applies to some other AV products, and to other versions of

Ron,

Have AVG anti virus, killed it....no good. so I took your idea to eliminate
any conflict and started from scratch. Unloaded Office 2000 Premium. Got an
old version of same...(2000 Small Business Edition) installed it (no front
page in that version - had to do with out some of the features of 2000
premium). Installed FP 2002 and now everything seems to work. Thank you and
the group for the help...it did work out.

Sincerely,

FM
