from a novice running windows xp...I can no longer (as of about three days
ago) launch Outlook 2007. My goal is to uninstall the application and start,
fresh. I cannot uninstall it using the control panel. I get messages
indicating that "install patches" cannot be found. How can I go about
solving this problem?

Uninstalling wont 'start fresh', the origonal settings/profile will be
retained.
Start off by inserting Office/outlook cd and running Office Diagnostics

Did you change hard drives or remove any folders you thought were unnecessary
in the Windows folder?
