Cannot keep "thumbnails" as default viewing option throughout Windows
Explorer programs & functions Running XP Home, Version 2002, SP2 All my folders are set to thumbnail in windows explorer, but when I go to send a picture on msn or open in another application the pictures are in list view. This requires an extra step to view the thumbnail, having to go to "view menu" then check thumbnails to preview files before opening/sending. I have scoured the internet, this site and this forum for a solution, to no avail. Anyone be so kind as to lend any expertise on the issue? Thank you. (below are screenshots of the issue)     |

There is no way around this. You need to go, as you do, to the view menu.
