Dear all

I am already in a workgroup , I want to join to a network
domain but when setting up through system properties
(Network ID or Change option in computer name) an error
is coming i.e."THE TARGET ACCOUNT NAME IS INCORRECT" even
though the domain name is correct .
what to do ?
Pls. help ASAP.

I would check the DNS settings first. can you ping dns server? what do you
get if using nslookup?
