Cannot join domain

I have a computer setup as a domain controller with a primary DNS zone and
this is the configuration of the network cards installed in it:

Ethernet adapter PRIVATE:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : 3Com 3C900TPO-based Ethernet Adapter
(Gen
eric)
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 151.142.22.79
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 151.142.22.79
161.155.22.25
161.155.22.26

Ethernet adapter PUBLIC:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT Network
Connection
DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.50
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . :161.155.22.25
161.155.22.26
NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Disabled

As can be seen, I have two network cards one set for the internal network
and the other to the external network. Also note that the IPs are not real
so that not to identify network. Also I removed the MACs for the same
purpose. I am trying to connect to the domain using this client, with the
following configurations:

Ethernet adapter Private:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast
Ethe
rnet NIC
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 151.142.22.28
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 151.142.22.79
161.155.22.25
161.155.22.26

Ethernet adapter Public:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Description . . . . . . . . . . . : ADMtek AN983 based ethernet
adapter
Dhcp Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.102
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 161.155.22.25
161.155.22.26

I cannot join the domain with this client as it is giving this error :

Note: This information is intended for a network administrator. If you are
not your network's administrator, notify the administrator that you received
this information, which has been recorded in the file
C:\WINDOWS\debug\dcdiag.txt.

DNS was successfully queried for the service location (SRV) resource record
used to locate a domain controller for domain server-a.local:

The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.server-a.local

The following domain controllers were identified by the query:

testserver.mydomain.local

Common causes of this error include:

- Host (A) records that map the name of the domain controller to its IP
addresses are missing or contain incorrect addresses.

- Domain controllers registered in DNS are not connected to the network or
are not running.

Your help is greatly appreciated!!

Hello Paul,

See my answer in microsoft.public.windows.server.active_directory and please
use crossposting with a newsreader like outlokk express. This prevents you
and others to collect/read all answers and maybe you get more then once the
same.

Best regards
