Hey guys, I thought that you could help me with this.
I downloaded windows defender, but I cannot install. When I double
click in the application it runs and shows the license agreement, but
after that it freezes completely without doing anything. I left the
whole night thinking that I would finish while I sleep, but when I woke up it
was where I left it. One thought that came to my mind was
that I was using the other beta version before and I removed to install
the new windows defender.
I have downloaded several times and I tried, but it won't install at all.
Has anybody has experienced the same trouble or anyone knows how to
fix, it would appreciate it.

OS: windows XP home SP 2
Processor 3.0 GHz
RAM: 1 GB
Running Norton internet security 2005
No different anti spyware used before except windows anti-spyware beta.

Have you tried to disable your AV for the installation? Sometimes that can
impact an installation.
