Just purchased XP Pro, installed with 1 Gig of high speed
RAM. Purchased Visual C++.net, Ver 2003 and tried to
install the product.
I downloaded and read all articles on prerequesits, and
it still won't go in. Tried to install Visual Studio.net
furnished with Visual C++.net, and XP said the software
was too old. The CD label is dated "2003".
As a last resort, SP 1R1a was ordered for XP, and I hope
it does the trick. I am running out of things to try.
At this point I have satisfied the requirements posted
on the box of the Visual C++.net, and the product will not
install. I could use help on this one.
