Cannot install service pack 4

Have a LXE VX4 forklift computer. Tried installing SP4 after removing I.I.S.
(Microsoft's KB article) and the SP4 still fails. I was able to move from SP2
to SP3. The SP4 install almost completes then it always fails. LXE says they
only support SP2. However, we had SP4 installed a few years ago on this same
VX4. Need to get SP4 on this system.

Look for the file %systemroot%\Svcpack.log and check for errors.

I have the svcpack.log file. However, what do I look for to find the problem.
I could send the file. - Thanks

Look for lines with error in them as possible clues. Also try from a 'Safe
Mode' boot. You can also send it and I'll take a look.

The SP4 install fails in safe mode as well. What email address for the
svcpack.log file? -Thanks

Remove the "nospam." in the published email address in the headers of his
post.

Select a message from from Mssr. Dave Patrick in your newsreader.

Right-click it and select "Properties"
Look for the email address on any tab.
Remove the "nospam." munge from the address, and you have it.
