I have had MS Plus! Superpack for WinXP for a while. I installed it on my
laptop and on my desktop but I deleted it from my laptop since I need the
space. And now I wanted to install it on my dad's laptop because he finds it
very useful, but for some odd reason Plus WILL NOT install on my dad's
laptop. WHY NOT????!!!!

Are you getting an error? Can you install the application in safe mode?

I'm confused... which safe boot mode do I use and why does the thing not
install in normal mode!?! I'm not a PC geek, I hate digging into the guts of
the computer... my idea is that Plus! will only install on 2 PCs and not on a
2rd and thats stupid because all my programs install on more than 2
PCs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To start the computer in safe mode
1. You should print these instructions before continuing. They will not be
available after you shut your computer down in step 2.

2. Click Start and then click Shut Down.

3. In the drop-down list of the Shut Down Windows dialog box, click Restart, and
then click OK.

4. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.
On a computer that is configured for booting to multiple operating systems, you
can press F8 when the boot menu appears.

5. Use the arrow keys to highlight the appropriate safe mode option, and then
press ENTER.

6. If you have a dual-boot or multiple-boot system, choose the installation that
you need to access using the arrow keys, and then press ENTER.
