I have tried to install 2 Activision games, Gun & Call of duty 2 but when i
put the disc in the drive nothing happens, and when i check the drive on 'my
computer' it does not recognise there is a disc there. Can anyone help
explain this as my partner and son are very disappointed at not being able to
play with their new games.

Are these game discs DVDs and ur drive is a CD only drive? That would be the
first question.

They are both DVD-Rom but i have tried them in both the DVD drive and CD-Rw
drive, when first in the drive spins and the light flashes then nothing
happens.

Hi pc novice,

Are you having problems browsing other CD / DVD disks in your collection?
