I have just rebuilt my PC with Excel 2003 full install, and cannot insert
PCX files. Before rebuilding my PC, I had Office 2000 then upgraded to 2003
and things worked fine. Is there an Add-on I need?

Thanks
Mike

I never noticed this, but I couldn't insert .pcx files in MSWord 2003 or XL2003,
either.

I seached http://support.microsoft.com
for: Excel PCX

And found this kb article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;214852

It looks like that filter is installed with MSWorks.

So off to google. I searched for "PCX Filter office 2003" (w/o the quotes) and
found this:

http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm

Even though this site is for MSWord, I followed the instructions and it worked
in Excel (as well as MSWord).
