I cannot import video! I get the mesage saying 'unspecified error". I think
my Nero ^ software is the problem, but I cannot figure out how or what to
change!

Thanks to anybody for any information!

You can't import the video into Nero or into Movie Maker?

I cannot import into movie maker. Movie maker is a very easy program to use,
and I miss it.

Ok
I doubt Nero is the problem more likely you are trying to import either a
video that isn't compatible
with Movie Maker or one that you don't have the codec for.
What type(s) {extensions} of video clips are you trying to import?
Try downloading the Windows XP Codec pack from here:

I am attempting to combine MPEG video clips. I am not sure when the problems
started either.

There's the problem.
Convert the MPEG videos to AVI and import THOSE into Movie Maker.
WMM doesn't cooperate well with MPEG videos.

Yes but he's referring to the DVD authoring part of the task.
I don't agree about Mct47's sentiments towards Roxio but I definitely would
always recommend a DVD Authoring program since I always suggest NOT
using MCE PC's "Save to DVD" option.
