Hi, I've foolishly tried to install Norton internet security 2005 on my PC
running Win ME. After a lot of battles I decided to uninstall the parts of
NIS which actually installed.
The problem I now have is running IE6 and trying to use Hotmail, each time I
try to open an e-mail, it is not possible to open any e-mails. When I click
on an e-mail it isn't possible to open the e-mail. There is a
Java:XXXXXXXXXXXXXX message showing in the status bar at the bottom of the
window when in Hotmail. Normally I would have been linked through to the
e-mail. I also have a similar problem when in www.download.com where I
cannot log on and cannot see the download button.

Last unrelated problem, still due to Norton NIS is that al the icons have
disappeared from Control Panel although it still shows 35 objects. I can see
the icons in safe mode.

Hope someone can help on these two issues.
