cannot hear line-in audio on remote desktop

Using windows XP Pro, I would like to use remote desktop to access a PC which
has the audio from a ham radio coming in through the line in connection.
Currently when I connect, I can hear audio from media player, but no audio
from the line in connection. How can I get the line in audio to go through
to the remote desktop?When
