You can create a new mail profile in Control Panel-> Mail-> Show Profiles
and when you are being asked for which account type you want to use choose
Other-> Outlook Connector. This way you create a mail profile without a
Personal Folders data set as the default store and your Hotmail account will
carry the Outlook Today logo. This way your Hotmail account will show an
envelope when receiving a new mail item.
