I have looked through all the help and cannot find any info. I have been to
Tools>Options>Other>Advanced Options>Reminder Options and have ticked the box
to show reminders but this still hasn't made any difference. Any ideas?

Try starting Outlook with the /cleanreminders command line switch.

I have tried doing this but doesn't seem to work. Is it anything do do with
the fact that I am on a server?

Reminders will only fire from certain folders in your "default" mailbox. By
this I mean, if working with a Microsoft Exchange account and the default
delivery location is set to mailbox - <username>, then reminders should fire
for items located in your calendar folder. If you need reminders for items
located in the non-default locations, then you have a use a 3rd party
solution. For example, Extended Reminders by a fellow MVP named Ken Slovak.

I have checked within my email account (which is an exchange server) and the
deliver new email to the following location is set to Mailbox - <username> so
is this OK beacause the reminders are still not appearing.

The reminders are all in my calendar and not from any other locations.

Odd, if you have items in your 'mailbox - <username>' > calendar folder that
are marked for a reminder, you should get them. This is why I asked if you
ran the /cleanreminders command line switch because this deletes/rebuilds
the hidden folder in your mailbox that tracks items you need reminders for.

Is the problem isolated to just this mailbox or is there multiple users on
the exchange experiencing this problem? Reason I ask is that if it is just
this one mailbox, I would suggest exporting the mailbox to a PST and then
delete/recreate it.
