I am frustrated. Can anyone lend any suggestions? I had People PC and deleted it because it was too slow and since then I cannot use IE (Windows Explorer), I keep getting the same error message. I can, however, get online through AOL and access the web that way. I just am not sure if I want to keep AOL or if the problem could be an AOL thing... ARGH!

Let me see if I understand the situation.
You were using People PC as your ISP and then uninstalled
(not deleted) People PC. Correct?
Now you have installed AOL (version not given). Correct?
You can connect to AOL at this point. Correct?
After connecting to AOL, you cannot use IE
(Internet Explorer - not Windows Explorer)
because you get some error message (not given). Correct?

Would you be willing to respond with some more detailed
information like say, oh I don't know...
What exact error message?
What version of AOL?
What version of XP? Pre-installed or Upgrade?
XP critical updates current?
What brand / model of computer?
Any Anti Virus program installed?
Any third-party Firewall program installed?
Are you now using or have you ever used Kazaa or similar
junk file sharing program?
Have you ever used any Anti Spyware program?
