Cannot Get IP Address from DHCP

I have an internet sharing router with a built-in DHCP
server. Normally my other PCs can connect to the internet
easily when I set automatic IP and default gateway.
However I have one XP PC that gives an error of failure
to obtain IP address from server when I do the above
settings and activate repair.

If I set static IP and Gateway I can ping DHCP server but
I still cannot access the internet. Some error about
socket is not unable to or something. DNS is OK.

Can anyone help me to resolve this problem.
