I downloaded an update from Microsoft because I was
having trouble with Outlook 2002 always freezing. When I
downloaded the update, something got messed up. Now I
cannot even opne Outlook. A box pops up that
says 'Unable to open your default e-mail folders. The
information store could not be opened.' I have
uninstalled Office XP and re-installed it with absolutely
no luck. Any ideas?

Verify the settings in your mail profile. If they are incorrect, fix them.
If they appear correct, create a new profile.
