I can access "Pictures" and "Music" when I open either from the Start menu,
but I get the message: "You don't currently have permission to access this
folder" when I try to open either folder from "Documents". I am the
Administrator for this Vista Home Premium installation. When I try to change
permissions I get the message: "An error occurred while applying security
information to: C:\Users\My Name\Documents\Pictures. Access is denied."

The path is *wrong*. You should be accessing Pictures in C:\Users\Your
name\Pictures.

C:\Users\Your name\Documents\Pictures is a junction for compatibility only.

Pictures and Music should be on the same level as Documents... not under it.

When I right click on music and click properties it is blank. How can I fix
this?

It alos does not appear as an option in the start menu properties to select.
