Hi,

Suddenly, all my reply messages in Outlook 2007 come up in the reply window
with the original text so small that it is unreadable. You can type a reply,
but again it is so small that you cannot read it. This problem occurs in both
email and calendar. I've been over all the settings - I'm using plain text,
courier new 12 and changing fonts to HTML doesn't help. In fact in plain
text, the formatting bar is greyed out! How did that happen?

I've done all the obvious things - ran Office Diagnostices, no disabled
items, ran the inbox repair and even uninstalled Outlook and re-installed it,
but still the same problem.

When I run Outlook/safe, the reply function works as it should. However, as
soon as I run it in normal mode, the reply text size ONLY in a reply is so
reduced that it is unreadable. I wish I could attach an example so you could
see it. As a work around, I have been copying the email text into Notepad,
replying to the message then pasting the text back into the reply window and
sending. Spell check works and the sent message is clearly readable. It is
just when you are composing in the reply that you cannot read the text.

And yes, I have all the Vista and Office updates, current antivirus and
video drivers, etc.

Suggestions? I'm a week into this and out of options.

Gib

A week into this and you still have not posted your Outlook version?

OOPS! My bad. You did too post your version - CRS is a horrible disease.

Try looking at your zoom settings. And plain text never could be formatted so I wonder why you just now noticed that the formatting options are greyed out.

Hmm, not finding "zoom settings" anywhere but stumbled on a Zoom control on
the keyboard, which resolved the problem.

Very strange.
