Ever since a friend sent me a document (not in Word) that
I opened in Word, my documents do not have the correct
margin. The margin is no longer 1 inch from top but about
5 inches, and even though I've tried fixing it through
default settings, nothing seems to work. Does anybody
have any ideas?

And if this is a problem in all new documents, change the alignment to top
and then press the Default... button in Page Setup.
