I have fixed this problem, although I am not quite sure
why it worked. What I did is change some of my McAfee
Firewall settings from "filter" to "allow." The settings I
changed were on AOL (AOL, AOL Topspeed, AOL Connectivity
Service), on IE (IE ver 6) and a couple of MicroSoft
settings (Generic Host, LSA Executable). However, I then
changed each back to its original setting of "filter" and
everything is still working. I changed my Security and
Privacy settings back to Medium and everything is still
working.
I am going to try a System Reset and make sure there isn't
some temporary fix. If so, I will post what I find.
