Dear Frank
Thank you for your quick response.
You are correct, this problem did occur after a particularly bad bout of
malware which included a couple of nasty virus attacks that were difficult to
recover from. The malware and virus have been delt with, however the problem
remains, How do I deal with a crippled IE 6?
I suspect a couple of files in the registry may have been damaged. Is there
any way to recover, short of completely reinstalling Win XP Pro, which would
cause serious problems with many of my other programs?
Does anyone know how to fix it?
Thank you very much for your concern. holy_love
