When I receive my post replied, then I click the link, which cannot re-direct
to my post, so I go the forum and search for it, and find nothing.
Could anyone tell me what wrong it is on the forum?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions
Eric

That happens often. You are being sent a bad link by the clunky and almost
useless Web newsgroup interface. It is prone to problems like this and you
would be much better of using a newsreader like Outlook Express instead.

I suspect a different reason. Have a look at the response.

Thank everyone for suggestions

I can see this post, but not my last post.
I cannot find my post through search on XP General Forum, but find on google
site, this is not what I expect to see.
Can anyone report this bug to microsoft and fix it?
Thank everyone very much
Eric

This bug has existed for years. If MS hasn't fixed it yet, it's a safe
bet to assume they won't fix it anytime soon.

Then again, if you accessed this and other newsgroups through an actual
news client, you wouldn't even care.

Daave, I'll just add my strong agreement to your point above. Eric, the
reason you're having such problems is that you are using the web interface
to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest, clunkiest, most error-prone method
there is. Do yourself a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Outlook
Express, which comes with Windows.

Earlier in the thread, Bruce H. made the same exact recommendation, even
referring to the same exact Web page. Perhaps Eric will notice it the
second time around. Then again, he's using the clunky Web interface, so
who knows if he is able to see this part of the thread!
