I can search the C drive and find files without any problem. However when I
change the Look In option to look at the mapped drive it cannot find this
file or any file. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated..

The following work around resolved the problem -
1. Click Start and then select Search
2. Select all files and folders
3. Select More Advanced Options (drop down arrow)
4. Check the box for Search tape backup
