I have Windows XP. I have Norton Antivirus 2003. My subscription is
about to run out. I got a notice that they will no longer have telephone
support for Norton Antivirus 2003, and they advised me to download and
install Antivirus 2006.

I gave them my Visa card number etc., and I downloaded Norton Antivirus
2006. At the end they had a button to click on to install it. I clicked
on the button. I got a notice to uninstall Norton 2003. I uninstalled
Norton 2003.

Now I cannot find the download of Norton Antivirus 2006. I looked in My
Downloads and I looked in "Add/Remove Programs" There isn't a shortcut
on the desktop.
Please, help me find the download.

Do a search for 2006. That should find it, amongst several other
things.
It's probably in your My Documents folder though. It'll be dated
t he same date you downloaded it, for further identification.
Also, you have 30 days in which you can redownload the
software, so you could do it that way too. Assuming you kept
your order number information and such, or printed it out.

LEARN to KNOW where you are saving files to!!

Good answer, if the file name doesn't contain 2006, search for norton

But I would look in "My Documents" first

Thanks. I couldn't find it in the program files or My Documents, and so
I installed Norton 2003 again from the CD. It may have been in
temporary files because the installation wasn't complete.
