Cannot find "Allow Always" setting

On using an application, I get prompted. The only options I see are "Allow"
and "Block". As I know the app, I do not want to be bothered again, but there
is no "Allow Always" option, so I have to allow over and over again. This is
so annoying, that I even consider to remove Windows Defender just to get rid
of the allow pop-ups.
The WD help does state that "Allow Always" is available, so where is it?

Hello Ruud,

I think you may have to work at excluding it from the scan, as an interim
measure. Tools, Options, scroll down to Advanced options, and fill the box,
by adding the full path and file name to the Tools/Options/ do not scan box,
hit the add button, and Save.

For the benefit of the community reading this post, please rate the pºst.

I hope this post is helpful.

Let us know how it works ºut.

It is not yet implemented (this is a beta; the help file does give a caveat
that not all it describes may yet be available).

You can add the path and file name to the exclusion box in Tools, Options,
in the advanced section. You will not get an alert, but an event log will
still be created.
Look in the History section, highlight one of the appropriate alerts, in the
lower box under file: it goves the path and file name that generated the
alert.
