Went under Options, Internet Explorer and clicked on the
Clear History bar, but it does not clear the
history...when I go back and open up the IE browser, and
type in a previous url, it fills it in for me....this
used to work fine, erasing all visited url's, but now it
does not..any ideas?

thanks,

rob

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?

Your index.dat file may be corrupt. Try moving the Internet Explorer
Temporaary Internet File location to a different directory and see if that
helps (keep track of the old location and delete the index.dat file there,
then move back to your original location).
