To troubleshoot some hardware problems I moved my network
card to a different PCI slot. When I rebooted the cand
re-dected fine, however, when I tried to enable ICS the
error in the subject came up.
Note this is not related to KB: 241769 though the error
looks a bit simillar.

I don't know if this solution will help you but it did manage to get my internet connection shared
1. I started Application Layer Gateway Servic
2. I started Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) / Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Servic
3. I unplugged my hu
4. I enabled Internet Connection Sharing. I did not receive the error Cannot Enable Shared Access Error 2 ..
5. In my Event Viewer, I received and error under System, IPNATHLP -- The Network Address Translator (NAT) was unable to
request an operation of the kernel-mode translation module. This may indicate misconfiguration, insufficient resources, or
an internal error. The data is the error code
6. I replugged in my hu
7. I reboot my compute
8. I dialed up to my ISP, then I checked my network IP settings IP Address: 192.168.0.1 Subnet: 255.255.255.0, I adde
my DNS numbers. I tested the Internet Connection Sharing and it worked
