Hello,

I am trying to set the encryption on the OST file file created when using
cache mode for Outlook 2003. When initially setting up the cache mode by
applying the check box, selecting "more settings" followed by "advanced" and
"offline folder file settings" i can choose where to save the OST, and i set
the encryption method to "high encryption". Once i select "ok" and go back
into the options it defaults to "compressable encryption and greyes out all
the options

It simply will not allow the high encryption option option to be set

Does anyone have any information on this or know any pre requisites required
to be able to set high encryption on an OST

Warrensm,
Have you received a response from this? I'm having the same issue and I
can't seem to find a solution. I'm going to attempt good ol' NTFS encryption
and hope for the best.
Thanks in advance
