Cannot edit my web site

Until today I've been able - while viewing my web site
with Internet Explorer - to edit anything I wanted to
with FrontPage by clicking on "File" and then clicking
the option to "Edit using FrontPage". That option is no
longer there. Does anyone have any idea to restore that
option? I'm running XP Pro SP2, FrontPage 2003.
Thanks very much!

While in Internet Explorer, open the Tools menu, go to Internet Options,
then Programs. Select Microsoft FrontPage as your default editor. If it is
not in there, you need to go into Windows Explorer, then open the Tools
menu, go to File Types. Scroll down to HTM and HTML, click Advanced. Add
Edit with FrontPage as an option. You may need to browse to the executable
file for FrontPage in your Program Files folder (I haven't done it in
awhile, they may have made it easier, you never know).

Mike thanks for the reply. I have FrontPage as my HTML
editor. Is this what you're asking about?

I have tried all suggestions except this one by Steve
Easton. Don't see how that has any effect or will bring
back the option to edit with FrontPage. None of the
others have restored that option. Anyone else with ideas
before I try using RESTORE to an earlier date?
Thanks very much!

Steve - I don't know how, but your suggestion to delete
the temporary internet files seems to have done the
trick. I followed each of the suggestions as they were
given and then re-booted the computer each time. Nothing
worked until I finally decided to follow your suggestion -
- even though I didn't think it had anything to do with
the problem. It workded!
Thanks very much to each of you that responded!

It's one of those quirks I can't explain because I never have that problem because I always launch
FrontPage and then open my webs that way.
However, I "think" it's caused by a cached file from a visited website where the webmaster has
attempted to disable the ability to view source and / or right click files and save.

I can't remember who actually figured out that dumping the files would clear it. But if iirc it was
Stefan Rusynko or Suzanne Barnhill. ( it wasn't me )
