Hi,
PC running Windows XP with Excel 2003
I can write and run a macro, but when I try to edit a macro Excel stops
working and I have to close it down. I have installed the same program on a
laptop running Vista and here I can edit a macro without problems.
Help please

Can you give more details about what you are doing when Excel hangs/crashes?
For example, are you selecting Tools/Macros/VBE from the toolbar? Clicking
Alt F-11? or does that take you into the VBE successfully, and it only hangs
when you try to click into the code window, or it hangs only when you try to
type into the code window?

I can't think offhand why your machine would crash when editing a macro, but
if you provide the play-by-play then that might trigger some ideas.

Also consider listing any add-ins that you have installed...
