Cannot drag graphic objects

      15th Aug 2004
I place layers, pictures, tables etc. on my page and use absolute positioning
.. It used to be possible to drag those objects around and change their
position. Sincve some time this is no longer possible - you can drag them but
they just jump to some place in the general direction of where you want to go.

Has something happened or am I making some silly mistake?

I loaded this page into FrontPage 2003 and didn't notice anything
peculiar when I move the various layers around. Can you cite a
specific instance?

      17th Aug 2004
Are you using FP2003? If so, choose Rulers And Grid from the Edit menu
and see if Snap To Grid is checked. If it is, select that command to
uncheck it.
