I have been trying to download software from multiple web
sites and keep getting the message " Internet Explorer
was not able to open this internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Try again
later." I am using version 6.0 with service packs install
up to the point where I could not, as a result of this. I
have tried at different times, different sites, zipped,
as target, reloaded Windows, Explorer, changed security
levels, etc. And still no change, could this have been a
virus, I have Norton up to date. Is there a way around
it, anyone with any ideas please let me know what to try.
The only help from the sites I have wrote, was one
offered to sell me their CD. Any and all help appreciated
and thank you much!!!

Try this it may help from in your browser click on
Tools/internet options/security/custom level/go down to
downloads and mack sure you have it set to enable and at
the bottom set your level to medium
