in the last 7 - 10 days I've been unable to download any files (gets to file
download box with flying doc but never makes connection with file info),
unable to watch any streaming video or listen to any streaming audio w/ WMP9.
PC bought in 2000 and not had any major problems until now. Using WIN98SE,
IE6SP1 (probably came with IE5.x), ZAPro (for years), DSL connection.
Checked and no viruses or spyware problems. Tried IE repair tool and no
change. Surfing web pages is also slower and choppy. Any help/advice would
be appreciated.

Hi,
Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files *folder* Look for this section
"Win98 users that need to delete the Temporary Internet Files" at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm Deleting History and Temp is [IMO]
optional. You want to delete tempor~1 Set the size of the recreated
Temporary Internet Files folder to 50-60 MB.

Hope this helps,
Don
