Hello! I recently upgraded Windows ME to XP after a nasty
virus. A few days ago, I tried to edit one of my Web
pages. Unfortunately, the log-in screen keeps asking me
for my username and password over and over. Sometimes I
get an error message: You do not have permission to
access that Web folder location. Sometimes, the login
screen just keeps popping up until I have to kill FP2002.

I have checked my Web server and my account to make sure
the information I was entering was correct. I thought
maybe it was a firewall problem. So I disabled XP's
firewall.

I've also searched all the support boards but don't
really know exactly what to search for. I'm at my wits'
end and hoping someone can point me in the right
direction.

Thanks in advance,
Leda

The same error occurs if I used the Edit in FP feature of
IE. I have also tried to upload new files to my server
from FP and encounter the same error.

When I was running Windows ME, I did not have trouble
logging in. In fact, I was able to create pages and save
them to my server without incident. The problem has only
reared it ugly, recurring head after I upgraded to
Windows XP.
