Hi,

Since reinstalling IE6 I cannot download anything from MSN MUSIC, Music
Match Store, Walmart Downloads, or even Real Player Music Store. In MSN I
get the message: "IE has encountered a problem." The others just get an
Illegal Operation Message or just won't complete the download. Never had any
problems prior to Reinstalling IE............All these sites are enabled in
my Sygate Firewall.

Any Clues as to why will be appreciated.

Marcus

Which version of Windows? What method did you use to reinstall Internet
Explorer?

Hi,
You may have a corrupted cache. Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files
*folder* Look for this section
"Win98 users that need to delete the Temporary Internet Files" at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm Deleting History and Temp is [IMO]
optional. You want to delete tempor~1 Set the size of the recreated
Temporary Internet Files folder to 50-60 MB.

Internet Options> Security, set the Internet Zone to default.

Disable third-party security, privacy, ad-blocker programs or toolbars.

Apparently there is a hot-fix for this problem that Microsoft is going to
send me tomorrow. We've already tried just about every re-install (except
Windows). Will let you know the results.
