Santosh,

Try net use /(drive letter) /d
This should work.

Good luck,

I just did that yesterday. I also had a network drive which was not working
(I was away from the network from which it was created) and could not right
click on it to disconnect it.
Simply open "My computer", click on tools / disconnect network drive, and
then choose the drive(s) that you want to disconnect.

Good Day Sir,

The Drive letter was F: i have opened the command prompt and the
typed "Net Use F: /d" without the quotes but it popped up an error message
again

the error message is given below

The network connection could not be found
More help is available by typing NET HELPMSG 2250.

I have no idea as to why this is happening

Thanks for all your help sir
