Ed,
I have the same problem. I'm trying to delete more than one obsolete user
accounts, and I get the "mshta.exe not responding" error. Actually, when I
click the last button to delete the account, the computer seems to hang up,
although the hard disk is still being heavily accessed for a long, long time.
The computer never comes back (I waited maybe 20 minutes once.)
Anyway, your suggested fix seems to do nothing. It executes ok, and says
it's been done, but nothing else seems to change. I run your command from the
Administrator account.
Any other ideas?
