I have ie6 and latest version of windows xp home when I go to tool internet
options and go to delete cookies nothing happens but I am able to go back to
the delete cookies screen and get the screen delete all cookies but nothing
is deleted that I can tell. However when I go to the delete files and click
on eventually I get a message that internet options are not responding and
nothing happens. I just need some kind of advice of where to go to get the
program back to where I can delete files and cookies.

Hi,
This probably indicates corruption in the cache. Delete the Temporary
Internet Files folder- a new folder will be created on restart. See the
instructions at http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm I'd recomment that
you set the size of the new TIF folder to 50-60 MB. That's large enough for
normal use.

If cookies aren't clearing from Internet Options> General, you can go to the
Cookies folder at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Cookies and delete them
from there.
