I have an RSS feed to Gizmodo in my Outlook 2007 RSS feeds folder. I want
to delete it but when I try to delete the folder for the feed I get an error
message. It says "shared folderds cannot be deleted during synchronization
with the server. Delete the folder after synchronization is finished"

It doesn't seem to be syncing and I don't think I shared it. Just want to
get rid of that folder.

Do you have IE also syncing feeds automatically? Check here in the Control
Panel's Internet options applet: Content tab > Feed section > Settings

to answer, no I did not
I just rebooted and went back in and it deleted no problem
