Cannot Delete Recurring Calendar Events in Outlook 2003 - Re-posted

I have a problem with Outlook 2003 SP2. I have multiple duplicate
calendar events I cannot delete.
When I try to delete events, I get an error message:
"There is not enough memory available to perform the operation".

Offline, this problem doesn't exist, and I have deleted the
duplicates. When I'm connected to the exchange server, I cannot delete
the duplicates, or move them, or amend them in any way. I cannot even
turn off reminders. I am able to delete non recurring events, this
only affects recurring appointments.

The problem does not go away if I kill all other applications. My
calendar size is 7270. My Inbox is 127771. I don't have a problem with
any other programmes, or any probelm with other parts of Outlook:
mail, contacts, just the calendar. I don't therefore think memory is
the issue, the rest of my PC runs fine.

Anyone any ideas? It's getting very annoying!

If you display your calendar in a table view (By recurrence works best) can you highlight the event(s) and press delete? Do not open them, simply highlight them.

I'd already tried this (although thank you for the idea). I simply get
the same message. I also cannot turn off reminders, so as the weeks
pass the number of appointments in my reminder list is growing.

I've tried a number of programmes to remove duplicates, and tried
manually. The problem is the same, Outlook always says "not enough
memory to perform the operation".

Any other ideas?

Does this happen when you try to delete just one item or alot of items if its alot then just do it in smaller batches also. try to highlight them and Shift+delete it..... this permanently deletes the item rather than moving it to your deleted items folder.
