That doesnt sound like the full err msg
Is it perhaps asking you to repair the data file?

The message says
Cannot open this Item. Errors have been detected in the file c:\documents
and settings\michelle > > bansch\localsettings\application

I have run scanpst.exe and it hasn't corrected it.

I have tried to do this

Run scanpst on the data file several times, see if that helps.
If not have you upgraded from an earlier version of Outlook, eg did you
upgrade origonally to 2003, then to 2007?
And if so what is the size of your data file?

Also you may wish to run a disk checking utility, available from your hard
drive manufacturers site, or if a large OEM PC, eg Dell, they have a disk
checking utility
