Hi. I have a few issues. Like a moron, I downloaded an unsafe file before I
had any anti-virus software installed. After getting a boatload of spyware
and viruses from this file, I installed norton and cleaned up my
computer...it's running much better, but now I have a few problems.

The main problem is that I can't delete any programs from the add/remove
programs list. When I click on remove...no action occurs. This is also true
when I want to open a file (For example, if I double click a windows media
file, it will not open...I have to open the player first, then select open
from the file menu...this is true for all of my programs).

When I reboot, an error dialog comes up that says the computer is unable to
load W0cffea4.dll and W0cfd40a.dll, Can anyone tell me what the heck has
happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

Sounds like you still have some Spyware/Viruses on the computer.
Restart in Safe Mode and do another Virus Scan and scan with AdAware
and Spybot.
