Cannot delete printer

In Control Panel, under Printers and Faxes, I show an Epson Printer, which
is inactive. I tried to delete it. In the status column it shows as
"deleting" but it is not deleting it.

After I deleted it, and rebooted and Windows XP found and installed the
printer, the same printer shows as "Epson Printer Copy 1" in Printers and
Faxes.

How can I get rid of the printer that shows as "deleting" but is not
deleting itself.

Addendum: The printer installed by Windows as "Epson Printer Copy 1" is
working fine. The original "Epson Printer" is shown as offline and deleting.
Except, it isn't deleting.

Never mind. There was a print job pending in the deleted printer. After I
deleted the print job. The printer disappeared from the control panel. All
is well.
