I'm a dummy, and I can't send a message until I get this deleted from my
outbox. When I hit delete, it tells me there's an error. I've already turned
the computer off and unattached the modem. Restarted w/out the modem and hit
delete, but it did not help. Help me!

Microsoft has a fix for that:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941090
"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a
computer that is running Windows Vista"

That page offers two download options. Unless you know for sure
you have 64-bit Vista, use the 32-bit option.

All I know is I have Vista home premium I told you I'm a dummy, I was
forwarding the message, and I just want to get rid of it. Please

I don't know what else I can do besides pointing you to the instructions
for the official fix. If the instructions seem too difficult for you, perhaps
you can get a computer-savvy friend to help you.

Thank you so much!!! This drove me crazy for 2 days. I ended up paying for a
registry fix and adware to no avail. Wish I would have read your post first.
Oh well I am glad it is fixed. Not so sure I like Vista or windows mail at
this point though.
