Email messages in outlook will not delete. Nothing happens when I highlight
and tell the darned computer to delete them. Would appreciate an answer in
as non-technical language as possible for someone born during the manual
typewriter era! Computer is Dell, Windows XP, purchased last year. Email is
Verizon, if any of that is helpful.

Thanks a lot.

Now I will really show my ignorance. All it says when I pull it up is
"Outlook Express." Should I search for more information?

Appreciate the response.

That information is enough to tell me that you're looking for Outlook Express
help. This is the Microsoft Outlook group. Outlook Express is part of
Internet Explorer, not Microsoft Office.

Here's the correct group to ask your question:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/...s/default.mspx

Choose your version of Outlook Express from there (Help > About will tell
you what version you use).

Good luck!
