I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer. There is a message in my
Outbox that I cannot delete. Error message says an" unknown error has
occurred." I am not sure what update I need to delete this message in my
OUTBOX????

I too have messages stuck in my outbox. I tried the solution provided, when
I was trying to download it, got the following Windows Update Standalone
Installer error: "The update does not apply to your system". I have 32-Bit
version.

Do you have Vista's SP1 installed? If so, that would explain the error
message you got. SP1 already includes the KB941090 hotfix.
If you really can't move or delete the 'stuck' emails in your outbox,
then try the three database utilities in WMUtil:
http://www.oehelp.com/wmutil/

If no improvement, then upgrade to WLM:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview
