I have a situation where someone sent a meeting request using Outlook
to a recipient who uses Lotus Notes. The recipient accepted the
meeting, and thus sent a 'meeting accepted' notification back to the
meeting organizer. Now the meeting organizer claims she cannot delete
this 'accepted' email from her inbox.

I have suggested repairing the inbox using the steps in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814441. I'm also about to suggest
doing a shift+delete. But I want to see if anybody here has 1) heard
of this before and 2) possible solutions.

Another thing I want to ask: Is there any way possible that this can
be due to the way the meeting request was generated? The meeting
request was generated using an Outlook add-in, but otherwise it is a
run-of-the-mill request.
